Some sketches from the early stages of the design….1...

I n these drawings I have tried to explore the site and decide what goes where…The form of he site was the driving force at the beginning. Later I realized that I had not considered other aspects such as the slope, the surroundings, and some cultural issues. At some point I thought the whole idea of openings,vistas,view could remain the same but the actual form of the building (as I envisaged)was too intimidating for a hotel in a town like Bournemouth….In next few days I try to be more organised and put some new images which could show how the whole thing changed….
