I Have never thought religion is a bad thing BUT now I believe the 21st centurie's human needs something beyond religion. Information ,technology and knowledge could help us to approach the question of God individually without having to follow.

But he didn't know ....

Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakable Zhuangzi. But he didn't know if he was Zhuangzi who had dreamt he was a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming he was Zhuangzi. Between Zhuangzi and a butterfly there must be some distinction! This is called the Transformation of Things. (2, tr. Burton Watson 1968:49)

Suspension...

A moment of hesitation, wondering or suspension…Asking yourself who you are and where you want to go…..Stagnation is something different. Totally different. Architecture could create suspension and exitement. An everlasting expectation ...Motivation…Happiness...

Theatre project...Second year....

Learning architecture

Yesterday, I saw a beautiful building …It was cladded with nice beautiful green marble. I looked at it from distance and walked towards it. I became close. It was not beautiful anymore…I was wrong. It was not marble. It was some other material. But I knew that if I was to redesign it, or restore it, I would use green marble.

I could learn about architecture everyday, evry second….Its all about looking at building. Its all about loving them, understanding them and not just walking pass them and ignoring them. I look at buildings, I look at the way that materials hold each other, the way that they respond to sunlight, and the way they feel when it is cold or warm…
Buildings talk…I must learn they language…

But the unconscious can not be civilized.(p.19.The poetics of space)

How would we build our buildings without technology. How would have our ancestors built their buildings with our technology?
Is this time for us to learn from the past?
